The Similarities

Differences Between the 2025R and 2038R

Despite seeming so similar on paper, there are a few key differences between the 2025R and 2038R.

Horsepower - The 2038R is the more powerful tractor with 12.8 more gross horsepower and 12.4 more PTO power than the 2025R.

Size - The 2038R is a significantly larger tractor compared to the 2025R, coming in at just under 3000lbs. The 2025R weighs just under 1800lbs, a 1200lb difference.

Attachment Capacities - The 2038R can handle all Category 1 attachments thanks to its iMatch™ system and 1356lb lift capacity. The 2025R, on the other hand, can handle a limited number of Category 1 attachments with an 800lb lift capacity.

Maneuverability - Thanks to its smaller weight and size, the 2025R has a smaller turning radius and is easier to load and unload if transport is required.

Operator Station - The 2025R offers an optional covered cab with heater and glass doors for improved visibility. The 2028R, while equipped with many operator station features like CommandCutTM for easy adjustments of the mower deck, is only available with an open station.


Which one is right for you?

While both tractors are versatile machines, the 2025R is more suitable if you only need it for lighter duty tasks, daily duties involve tight spaces (such as inside barns or between orchard rows), or operators are exposed to the elements during off-seasons such as winter and early spring.
