John Deere’s ExactApply intelligent nozzle control minimizes waste and maintains consistent droplet size and pattern for more efficient coverage. Take a closer look at the ExactApply technology, which is available on all John Deere 4-Series Sprayers in 2018.
Higher Pulse Width Modulation
While most self-propelled sprayers and spray drift control products see a fluctuation in the droplet size as spray speed increases, ExactApply’s higher pulse rate modulation maintains consistent droplet size. This advanced technology from John Deere provides more precise coverage over more acreage in less time.
Individual Nozzle Control
With the individual nozzle control, operators can vary the spray rate of each nozzle across the entire boom. This prevents potential sprayer drift, overlaps, and skips, especially when dealing with delicate crops, frequent turns, waterways, and other field obstructions.
Increased Flow & Decreased Waste
During factory testing, ExactApply showed a 25% increase in nozzle flow, which helps control costs and increases spray volume. It also showed a 2-5% decrease in the volume of herbicides or pesticides needed to effectively cover the same area.
Precision Ag Compatibility
ExactApply is fully integrated with the GreenStar Display, making it compatible with the entire suite of John Deere Precision Ag products. The increased level of control paired with data management tools helps operators improve crop yields and reduce waste.
Increased Visibility
With LED lights on each nozzle, ExactApply allows operators to extend the work day during the busiest seasons. The LED lights make it so the spray pattern is visible in low light or inclement weather.
John Deere Exact Apply retrofit kits are available for select John Deere Sprayers models, including R4030, R4038 and R4045. For more information on John Deere ExactApply, visit Deere.com or stop by your nearest Papé Machinery location today!
