Superb Utility Tractor!

This tractor has surpassed my expectations (and I had very high ones). Whether doing mowing of dense tall field grasses or the severe clearing of wooded areas of 3” saplings (with a 6 ft Woods 720X), loading wet 5x5 bales, or the bucket filled with soil or gravel, this green beast never sweats. It’s very rare I that ever have to exceed 1600 rpm (with the ePTO), and the versatile 12 speed power reverser is just simply sweet! Absolutely no regrets, no remorse, totally satisfied with both the tractor and my dealer, would buy again in a heartbeat.

More Tractor Than I Anticipated

Have hill farm in Northern Ky. Have livestock and use for bush hog and hay work. Tractor handles disc mower much better than I anticipated. Heck of a tractor for the money and very fuel efficient. Dealer was spectacular. Thank you John Deere

Excellent Tractor

The 5055E was bought new and has been owned for a few months. So far, the tractor has more than exceeded my expectations. It is used for bush-hogging (5-footer), Plowing (20-disk large harrow) and various other farm requirements. This tractor more than holds its own and above all, the ease of use is outstanding.

Good for the Weekend Farmer

Tractor got plenty room in cab. Air/heat works great, radio is fairly good as well. The only negative thing I can say is the tractor is kinda weak to be a 75 horse power tractor. I have a 5303 and it feels like it has more torque/power.

Work Horse

The tractor is very nice, however, the foot throttle is not user friendly. My biggest complaint would be the fuel efficiency, or lack there of. I've tried 540e and 540 and both are terrible on fuel. Other than that, this tractor is great! A real work horse for hay farming and bush hogging, as well as plowing and planting.

Awesome Work Horse

I have had my cab 5075e for 3 months. I have pulled my 12ft batwing over head high grass and the tractor acts like there is no grass there. Pulling a 6ft is a joke to this tractor. The cab is quite the radio is great. Overall a tractor that i love as much as my wife ( dont tell her that). You wont regret your purchase if you buy this tractor, good on fuel also.

Great Tractor for the Money

Traded in a 4320 open station 2008 model on a 2019 5075E cab tractor with loader. Got my tractor from united in Rhome TX. Excellent customer service. Very fast getting the unit ready to go. I needed a larger tractor to haul over to our other farm, made the decision while flying back from seattle to DFW. had wifi on the plane, did the entire deal while flying including the trade in. Had papers waiting when I drove by the Rhome United ag store and signed and picked up the tractor the next morning and headed out. Put 20 hours clearing brush and mowing that weekend and everything worked flawlessly and AC is very good, was over 100 out. It does like fuel when pushing it, tank could be a bit bigger but overall its a great value. I have watched the reviews for a while and while early units did have some teething issues. i think John Deere has listened and its a good value product. Im happy with it.

Work Horse

Great tractor have no regrets at all, John Deere was awesome about purchasing finance , our farm is lucky to have such a a great machine, 2019 had some good changes to it with better front view also the controls were set up better for all day use. The 520m loader works great for me I added a tooth bar and there's plenty of power

Cattle Farm Operation

I purchased my 5100E new in 2014, we operate a cattle operation in Va. it used to cut, rake and bale hay and un-roll bales during the winter. Also used for snow removal, bush hogging and other general items on the farm. This tractor works great for everyone we do, with our operation getting bigger, we just purchase a new 6120M for bigger equipment we are purchasing, but have decide to keep our 5100E as it has been maint free.

Good Tractor for the Money

I use my 5100E to pull 15ft rotary cutter. I ordered 3SCV's, wouldn't have one without it. I also had duals put on for hillside mowing. This tractor is great. I use to mow with my 6140R, the 5100 is much better suited. Also great tractor for snow removal. I find it being my tractor of choice. The cab is quiet, cool in summer, warm in winter. I did also get the right door kit. I recommend.
